following rivers in Tennessee...



  North Fork of the Forked Deer at Dyersburg



For the North Fork Forked Deer River...including Dyersburg...Major 

flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...



* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is 

  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.



* WHERE...North Fork of the Forked Deer at Dyersburg.



* WHEN...Until further notice.



* IMPACTS...At 30.5 feet, Most of Dyersburg south of the river is 

  flooded including houses, mobile homes, and businesses. Sections 

  of Highway 412 are flooded. Evansville is flooded, mostly north of 

  Highway 104. Most of Slaughter Pen Road is flooded. The area 

  around Thomas Industries floods.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 11:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 28.8 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 11:00 AM CDT Monday was 28.8 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.0

    feet early Wednesday morning.

  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
