...The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a Flood 

Warning for the following rivers in Arkansas...



  St Francis River Diversion Ditch at Madison



For the Saint Francis River...including Saint Francis, Lake City, 

Madison...Moderate flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT TO FRIDAY 

AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...St Francis River Diversion Ditch at Madison.



* WHEN...From late Tuesday night to Friday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, Flooding is occurring on most farm land 

  bordering the river.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 26.3 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    early Wednesday morning to a crest of 32.7 feet early

    Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage

    Thursday afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
