Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi...



  Yocona River near Oxford



For the Yocona River...including Oxford...Minor flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Yocona River near Oxford.



* WHEN...From Sunday morning to tomorrow evening.



* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Flooding is occurring in agricultural land 

  near the river.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 10:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.4 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage

    tomorrow morning to a crest of 26.0 feet tomorrow morning. It

    will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
