increased in duration for the following rivers in Texas...



  Navasota River Near Easterly affecting Robertson and Leon Counties.



For the Navasota River...including Groesbeck, Easterly...Major

flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when

walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Navasota River near Easterly.



* WHEN...From this evening to Wednesday evening.



* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Major flooding is expected.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 2:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.6 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this

    evening to a crest of 26.4 feet tomorrow evening. It will then

    fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.

  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.

  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
