...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ THIS 

EVENING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties, 

  Edwards, Gallatin, Saline, Wabash and White and Indiana, including 

  the following counties, Gibson, Pike and Posey.



* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT /800 PM EDT/ Sunday.



* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 

  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 917 AM CDT /1017 AM EDT/, Even though the heavy rain has

    ended, substantial flooding continues across much of the

    warned area. Between 5 and 9 inches of rain have fallen since

    the start of the event on Wednesday. Additional light

    rainfall amounts up to one tenth of an inch are possible in

    the warned area.

  - Flooding impacts will continue.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Evansville, Harrisburg, Princeton, Mount Carmel, Mount

    Vernon, Carmi, Eldorado, Fort Branch, Oakland City,

    Petersburg, Albion, Shawneetown, Grayville, Lancaster,

    Haubstadt, Owensville, Norris City, Poseyville, Galatia and

    West Salem.
