* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...Northwestern Roane County in central West Virginia...

  West Central Calhoun County in north central West Virginia...

  East Central Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia...

  Southwestern Pleasants County in northwestern West Virginia...

  Southwestern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia...

  Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia...

  Southeastern Wood County in northwestern West Virginia...



* WHEN...Until 1230 PM EDT Monday.



* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying

  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 530 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to

    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly

    in the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Parkersburg, Elizabeth, Mineralwells, Sandyville, Reedy,

    Palestine, Greencastle, Cherry, Freeport, Morristown, Walker,

    Lucille, Peewee, Creston, Petroleum, Davisville, Leroy and Nutter

    Farm.

  - This includes the following highways...

    Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 174 and 178.

    Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 9 and 30.
