...FLOOD WATCH ALONG YUKON RIVER IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY 

MORNING, ICE JAM FORMATION POSSIBLE AS BREAKUP PROGRESSES...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is possible.



* WHERE...In Eagle and areas downstream



* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.



* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - The Yukon River has broken up locally at Eagle. As of 10 am

    Tuesday breakup had not progressed to Calico Bluffs.  Water

    levels remain low behind the ice front.  Ice shows signs of

    weakening but the possibility of minor flooding exists if ice

    jams form.

  - If you live near or along the Yukon River monitor ice movement 

  and water levels; stay alert and be prepared to take action.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
