High pressure will keep conditions dry at Mount Rainier National Park through Thursday. A weak frontal system will cross the region on Friday, bringing strong winds to higher reaches of the mountain. Warmer conditions will return to the park this weekend and persist into early next week as another ridge of high pressure builds into the area. && .IMPACTS...Strong winds in alpine regions on the mountain, including the Muir snowfield, will make it difficult to move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions on Friday.
