            An EF-2 tornado was confirmed by the 

            National Weather Service that started and 

            ended in Mason County, Kentucky. The tornado 

            occurred during the morning hours of June 

            18, 2026. A wind gust of 114 mph was 

            measured by the Kentucky Mesonet which is 

            consistent with an EF-2 tornado.
