...Preliminary Results of Dallas County Survey...



National Weather Service meteorologists assessed storm damage in

Dallas County near the Sardis community, associated with the

storms on Sunday, April 6th 2025. It was determined that the 

damage was the result of a brief EF1 tornado with max winds of 95

mph.



Another survey remains ongoing in Barbour County.



A final assessment including results of both surveys are expected

to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information 

Statement later today.
