...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled today for Dallas and 

Barbour Counties...



The National Weather Service office in Birmingham AL will conduct

a storm survey today for the areas near Sardis in Dallas County 

and Midway in Barbour County. The survey is in relation to the 

severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on Sunday, April

6th.



A final assessment including results of the survey are expected

to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information

Statement later today.



The storm survey information will also be available on our

website at http://www.weather.gov/bmx
