Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 80 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.8 miles Path Width /maximum/: 100 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 08/01/2026 Start Time: 8:23 PM EDT Start Location: 2 WSW Franklin / Warren County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 39.5465 / -84.3319 End Date: 08/01/2026 End Time: 8:28 PM EDT End Location: 1 SE Carlisle / Warren County / OH End Lat/Lon: 39.5668 / -84.3108 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF0 tornado in Franklin in Warren County, Ohio. Southwest of Franklin, several large tree limbs were downed along Hamilton-Middletown Road and State Route 73. As the tornado moved northeast, more tree damage was noted on Dayton-Oxford Road, and a section of a corn field near Water Source Drive was flattened. Just northeast of Water Source Drive, one large metal building at an industrial facility had a large portion of a northwest-facing wall removed, along with a portion of the roof. Damage at this location supported wind speed estimates of 80 MPH, the highest wind speeds from this tornado. Several tree limbs were downed in a neighborhood near Forest Ave, Chestnut Street, and Park Ave. One house on Park Ave had some siding damage.
