A cold front will cross the northern waters today. Southerly 

winds will rapidly increase along and just behind the front. 

Though short lived, strong gale conditions gusting near 40 kts are

likely, even near shore, in the inner waters this afternoon most 

likely between 2 PM and 8 PM.
