For the following areas...

Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...



At 710 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts

were located along a line extending from High Island A33 to near High

Island A410 to 7 nm southeast of Galveston A156, moving east at 25

knots.



HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Tabs Buoy F, High Island A131, High Island A142, High Island A410,

High Island A80, High Island A457, Galveston A156, High Island A109,

and Galveston A66.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected.



Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor

immediately.
