Lake St. Clair Open Lake (U.S. Portion)...

St. Clair River...



At 817 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near St Clair Flats Old Channel Light to 12 nm

southeast of Grosse Pointe to 16 nm east of Grosse Ile, moving east

at 40 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected.



Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the

metal objects.
