...THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Coastal waters from  Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...



At 558 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms, capable of 

producing winds to around 30 knots and potentially waterspouts. 

These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 16 nm 

northeast of Buckeye Reef to 8 nm northwest of Suwannee River. The 

thunderstorms were nearly stationary.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.



Waterspouts are possible with this activity. If a waterspout occurs, 

move your boat away from it. Waterspouts can develop rapidly and 

produce winds and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone 

onboard.
