A ridge averaging 30.40 inches affects Lake Erie through Sunday as the embedded high pressure center moves from just northeast of Lake Superior to southwestern Quebec. During Sunday night through this Wednesday, a low is expected to wobble generally eastward and then northeastward from the Lower Mississippi Valley to Atlantic waters well east of the Delmarva Peninsula and south of Nantucket. Simultaneously, a trough extending from this low is expected to impact Lake Erie and average 30.10 inches over the lake. By this Wednesday, a ridge averaging 30.20 inches attempts to build from the north-central United States and James Bay area.
