For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario



Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest

1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of

the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.



.SYNOPSIS...An unseasonably strong 29.2 inch low will linger over 

the Canadian Maritimes through this evening before exiting eastward 

over the Atlantic. A weak ridge of high pressure averaging 29.9 

inches will then build over the Great Lakes tonight through Sunday. 

A 29.7 inch low is then forecast to move south of the lower Great 

Lakes Monday and Monday night, before moving off the New England 

coast by Tuesday. A broad area of high pressure averaging 30.1 

inches will advance over the eastern Great Lakes region Wednesday 

and Thursday of next week.
