Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest

1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of

the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.



.SYNOPSIS...A compact 29.5 inch low pressure over Lake Huron will

move east to the Ottawa valley by this evening while dragging a

strong cold front across the lake. A 30.2 inch high will build 

across the lake Tuesday through Wednesday. A 29.9 inch low over 

the Ohio Valley Thursday will pass south of the lake Thursday 

night and reach the Atlantic coastline Friday.

AFTERNOON...



.TODAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of rain showers

late. Waves 2 feet or less. 

.TONIGHT...West winds 15 to 25 knots increasing to 35 knot gales

after midnight. Rain and snow showers likely early, then scattered

snow showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet building to 10 to 14 feet. Waves 

occasionally around 18 feet. 

.TUESDAY...Northwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to 30 knots. A

chance of snow showers. Waves 10 to 14 feet subsiding to 8 to

11 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet. 

.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots becoming west and

diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 8 to 11 feet subsiding to

2 to 4 feet. Waves occasionally around 14 feet.

midnight. Waves 2 feet or less building to 13 to 17 feet. Waves 

occasionally around 22 feet. 

.TUESDAY...West gales to 35 knots. Snow showers likely in the

morning, then just a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. 

Waves 12 to 17 feet subsiding to 10 to 15 feet. Waves occasionally

around 22 feet.
