Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest

1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of

the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.



.SYNOPSIS...A compact 29.8 inch area of low pressure over the 

western Great Lakes this evening will deepen to 29.5 inches as it

advances across southern Ontario Canada tonight and Monday, while

dragging its cold front across the lake Monday afternoon. A 30.2 

inch high will build across the lake Tuesday through Wednesday. A

29.9 inch low over the Ohio Valley Thursday will pass south of 

the lake Thursday night and reach the Atlantic coastline Friday.

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east less than

10 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less. 

.MONDAY...South winds 5 to 15 knots. A chance of rain showers

late. Waves 2 feet or less. 

.MONDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 25 knots increasing to 30 knots.

Rain showers likely with a chance of snow showers in the evening,

then a chance of snow showers overnight. Waves 3 to 6 feet

building to 7 to 11 feet. Waves occasionally around 14 feet. 

.TUESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots. A chance of snow showers.

Waves 7 to 11 feet subsiding to 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally

around 14 feet. 

.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots becoming west and

diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves 5 to 9 feet subsiding to

3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet. 

.WEDNESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast. Waves

2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 2 feet. 

.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northeast.

Rain likely. Waves 1 to 2 feet building to 2 to 4 feet. 

.FRIDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north. A chance

of rain. Waves 2 to 3 feet.

10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
