.Synopsis for the far Southern CA coast... 

At 1 AM, a 1025 mb high was 500 nautical miles west of San

Francisco and a 1009 mb low was over eastern Utah. Moderate 

onshore flow will continue to produce brisk westerly winds during

afternoons and evenings through Thursday night, especially in the

outer waters. Weaker onshore flow is expected from Friday to 

Sunday, with a coastal eddy circulating mainly during the nights 

and mornings.
