Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average

height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be

more than twice the significant wave height.



.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A low pressure trough will

persist along the southern coast tonight into Sun, expand N Sun

night and Mon, and then slowly strengthen Mon night through Wed

night. A high pressure ridge will weaken over the S portion

tonight into Sun night. A cold front will move SE over the

northern and central waters tonight, then dissipate over the

central and southern waters Sat and Sat night. Low pressure will

move across the northern waters Sat night and Sun while pulling a

cold front over the area. The cold front will dissipate across

the central waters Sun night. High pressure will build E across

the area Sun night and Mon, gradually weaken Mon night and Tue

while drifting SW, then continue Wed and Wed night. Yet another

cold front will move SE across the northern portions Tue night

into Wed while weakening. The NAVTEX transmitter in Cambria is

partially degraded at this time. Technicians are aware, and are

working on a resolution.
