.SYNOPSIS...A weak stationary front extending west-northwestward

from Marco Island, Florida to off southeastern Texas will

dissipate later today. Gentle to moderate NE winds at the

northeastern Gulf will become fresh to strong by this afternoon,

and SE winds at the northwestern and north-central Gulf will 

follow the same trend by tonight in response to a strong high 

pressure passing north of the Gulf. As the high slides eastward 

into the Atlantic early next week, these winds and seas should 

subside.
