...LARGE NORTH SWELL TO PRODUCE SURGES IN NORTH FACING HARBORS...



A large, long period north swell from 350 to 360 degrees gradually

decline over the next few days. Moderate to heavy surges are 

expected in north facing harbors, especially at Kahului and Hilo

at least through tonight and possibly into Monday. Mariners using

these harbors should exercise caution when entering or leaving 

port and when mooring or launching.
