Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals



Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height

of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than

twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...

A surface low is centered roughly 300 nm W of Kauai with a front 

extending from the low into the N offshore waters. The low will 

remain nearly stationary through Friday then pass through the far

N offshore waters Saturday as the front moves to the N. The low 

will lift NE of the region on Sunday, and strong high pressure 

will build far N of the islands Monday and Tuesday.
