nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea

Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals



Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height

of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than

twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...

A low will approach from the W and move near or over the NW

offshore waters Thursday through Saturday. The low lifts NE of 

the state by Sunday with a strong high building to the N during

the first half of next week.

Half. Seas 6 to 10 ft. Isolated thunderstorms and scattered

thunderstorms N waters.

.FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT...Low near or over NW waters. NE winds 

20 to 30 kt far NW waters. Elsewhere, S to SW winds 10 to 25 kt. 

Seas 6 to 11 ft. Isolated thunderstorms. 

.SATURDAY...S to SW winds 10 to 25 kt, strongest N waters. Seas 6
