nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea

Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals



Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height

of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than

twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...

High pressure N of the offshore waters will be weaker over the 

next few days as a front passes far north of the area and the 

remnants of former Tropical Cyclone Genevieve dissipate. Trades 

are forecast to restrengthen to locally breezy levels by the end 

of the week as high pressure expands once again.
