.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...

Southwest winds will become fresh to strong tonight and Monday as

a front approaches, reaching Small Craft Advisory thresholds. The

front will move down the island chain Monday night and Tuesday. 

Northwest winds behind the front will diminish and shift out of the

east on Wednesday, followed by a return to southerly winds Thursday.

An extra large northwest swell is due Tuesday and Wednesday.

at 11 seconds. Hazy. Isolated showers. 

.MONDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots near the Big Island...

north 20 to 25 knots. Elsewhere, south southeast winds 10 to

15 knots, veering to south 7 to 10 knots. Seas 7 to 10 feet,

building to 9 to 12 feet. Scattered showers through the night.
