At 325 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms capable of producing winds to around 30 knots, frequent lightning, and isolated waterspouts. These thunderstorms were located mainly south of Mona Island, and over the Caribbean coastal waters of Puerto Rico, moving north to northwest around 15 knots. Additional thunderstorms are expected to develop across these waters through sunrise. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, possible waterspouts and heavy downpours.
