Isolated to scattered passing showers are expected through the 

period, with a slightly higher chance tonight. Rainfall overall 

looks to stay below average, and no major changes are expected in 

the forecast. Because of that, confidence remains high that severe

weather is not expected. Easterly winds will stay light around 10

mph, while temperatures continue in the 90s.



Looking ahead to the weekend and into early next week, severe

weather is still not expected. Winds remain easterly around 10

mph, but may begin to decrease early next week as a trough

develops well to the south of the islands. Any showers that do

occur will likely be brief and passing. Temperature are expected

to remain above average.

Latest wave heights observed at the Aunu'u PacIOOS buoys remain 

around 5 to 7 feet and is forecast to persist at these heights 

through the new week. Although no significant swells or winds are

expected through the forecast period, wind speeds around 10 to 15

knots could produce textured seas at times. This means slightly choppy

conditions are possible, but not enough to warrant a small craft 

advisory.
