High temperatures will warm to near normal levels over the weekend, then to above normals for much of next week. && .DISCUSSION...Weak shortwave ridging today, flattening Sunday into Monday, with more significant ridging across the desert southwest mid to late next week. Weatherwise, a very quiet next 7 days. Light winds, high clouds at times and warmer high temperatures. High temperatures will be near normal through Sunday, warming to 3-7 degrees above normal next week. High temperatures next week will be in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees in the lower deserts from Tucson westward and in the lower to mid 80s across the lower elevation locations of Santa Cruz, Cochise and Graham counties. && .AVIATION...Valid through 26/12Z. Clear skies/SKC conditions thru the forecast period. SFC wind less than 10 kts, favoring a WLY/NWLY direction during the afternoon and early evening hours and variable in direction at other times. High temperatures will be near normal this weekend rising to about 3-7 degrees above normal next week. 20-foot winds will generally be 15 mph or less, with occasional gusts to 20-25 mph through the end of next week.
