Not expecting impactful weather today but will see continuing

warming trend as upper level ridge moves over Idaho by late

morning into afternoon. No precipitation expected today with a

continued warming trend and high temperatures in the 70s 

valleys and 60s and 70s higher elevations as closer to normal 

readings return. Ridge moves east Tuesday with southerly flow 

aloft returning which will increase the moisture content and 

will have the main precipitation event for the week most likely 

Tuesday into Wednesday. This will likely not be a significant 

rain producer with the highest QPF in the southern and eastern 

mountains along with the highest probability. Only slight 

chances to chances elsewhere. Beyond Tuesday will have mainly 

dry and warm conditions Wednesday through next Monday with above

normal temperatures expected with many low elevations into the 

80s both Thursday and Friday. An upper level trof passing to 

north Friday may bring breezy to windy conditions.

winds today through tonight. Will see an increase in mid and

high level clouds after 06Z overnight ahead of the next system.

Dry conditions today with continued warming trend. Best chance

for showers and isolated thunderstorms this week will be Tuesday

through Tuesday night. Best chances in zones 427, 413, 410 and

411. Not expecting significant precipitation with the system.

General trend through the week is continued warm temperatures

through the weekend with well above normal conditions Thursday

and Friday. Friday will also bring the likely strongest winds of

the week as a system moves through to the north and may drag

through a week cold front. Overall, not expecting significant

impacts through the week, only some low level issues are

expected.
