No changes needed at this time. && .DISCUSSION... (Today through next Tuesday) WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW: A few strong thunderstorms are possible Tuesday afternoon. The primary thunderstorm hazards will be wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and dangerous cloud to ground lightning strikes. A storm system will impact Northern and Central Nevada through Tuesday evening, resulting in periods of valley rain and high elevation snow. Snow levels will remain around 9,000 feet. The majority of this precipitation will fall Tuesday afternoon. A ridge of high pressure will build northeastward across the Silver State Wednesday through Friday, resulting in a warming trend. By Friday afternoon, high temperatures throughout Northern and Central Nevada will be around ten degrees above normal for this time of year. Maximum temperatures across Northern and Central Nevada will remain above seasonal values this weekend.
