.SYNOPSIS...Dry and warm weather will continue through the next 

week. Mainly light winds expected, with some gusty southwest winds 

arriving for Sunday afternoon.

.DISCUSSION...Dry weather will continue with seasonable 

temperatures across the region. Mainly light winds around 10-15 mph 

with afternoon gusts to 20-25 mph are expected through the next week 

with the exception of Sunday. A trough passes off to our north, 

allowing for a slight tightening of the pressure gradient, and 

southwest winds will be around 15-25 mph with gusts 30-35 mph on 

Sunday afternoon. The ridge will then build across the region for 

mid to late next week, with slightly above average temperatures 

and continued dry conditions.

.AVIATION...Saturday 25/12Z through Sunday 26/12Z...VFR

conditions and clear skies are forecast. Winds light and variable

at night, southwest at 5-10 kts during the day Saturday.



OUTLOOK...Sunday 26/12Z through Tuesday 28/12Z...VFR conditions

are expected. Winds southwest at 15-20 kts gusting to 25 kts 

Sunday, then light less than 10 kts the remainder of the period.

.FIRE WEATHER...Today and Sunday...Dry and mild conditions will 

persist. Minimum RH will remain in the 20-30% range each afternoon 

with moderate recovery at night. Look for southwest winds at 5 to 15 

mph today, increasing to 15-25 mph on Sunday.  



Monday through Wednesday...Dry and mild weather will continue. Winds 

generally less than 15 mph, northwesterly on Monday then shifting to 

northeasterly on Tuesday. Even lighter winds on Wednesday, primarily 

terrain driven.
