Mainly light winds expected, but gusty southwest winds arrive for Sunday afternoon. && .DISCUSSION...A dry and seasonable weather pattern is forecast over northern Arizona over the next 7 days. Low pressure over New Mexico is keeping a cool northwest flow over our region this afternoon, with a few cloud buildups and perhaps an isolated sprinkle near the AZ/NM line. High pressure will build in starting Saturday, bringing slightly warmer temperatures. A trough passing to our north on Sunday will cause increased west- southwest winds of 15-25 mph but very little cooling. From Monday through much of next week, stronger high pressure is expected to build over the southwest US. Generally light winds, clear skies, and daytime temperatures a few degrees above late- October averages are forecast. && .AVIATION...Saturday 25/00Z through Sunday 26/00Z...VFR conditions, no precipitation expected.
