.SYNOPSIS...Dry and warmer weather is forecast to return today and 

continue through the next week. Mainly light winds expected, but 

gusty southwest winds arrive for Sunday afternoon.

.DISCUSSION...The low that brought some showers to the region over 

the past couple of days has moved off to the northeast. Dry air will 

move in behind the departing low as a ridge starts to push in from 

the west. Warmer air will return and we will see a return to more 

seasonable temperatures. Mainly light winds around 10-15 mph with 

afternoon gusts to 25 mph are expected through the next week with 

the exception of Sunday. A trough will move through the Great Basin 

over the weekend, passing off to our north. However, this will 

tighten the pressure gradient, allowing for some stronger southwest 

winds across the region. Winds will be around 10-20 mph with gusts 

20-30 mph on Sunday afternoon. The ridge will then build across 

the region for mid to late next week, with continued warm and dry 

conditions and generally light winds.

conditions, no precipitation expected. Winds Light and variable 

or terrain driven overnight, NW-N 5-10kts after 15-18Z.



OUTLOOK...Saturday 25/06Z through Monday 27/06Z...VFR conditions,

no precipitation expected. Winds SW 5-10kts Saturday, SW 10-20kts,

gusts 25-30kts Sunday. Light and variable or terrain driven

overnight periods.

.FIRE WEATHER...Today through Saturday...Dry and seasonable weather 

is expected through Saturday. Northerly winds at 10-20 mph today, 

becoming southwest through west at 10-20 mph on Saturday. 



Sunday through Tuesday...Dry and seasonable weather will continue. 

Southwest winds 10-20 mph gusting 20-30 mph on Sunday, becoming 10-

15 mph on Monday and Tuesday.
