Highs will be right around the upper 80s to middle 90s this afternoon. Overnight tonight, low temperatures will fall into the lower to middle 50s. The 500 MB heights will be between 595 and 600 across the southwest US. Also, a low level thermal ridge will extend across northwest Texas into the Big Country with highs around 100 Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the area will see highs in the 90s.
