Issued at 125 PM CDT Thu Mar 19 2026 Thursday-next Wednesday: No impactful weather is expected for the forecast period. Surface ridging will continue to provide spring-like conditions to the ArkLaMiss region. Temperatures are expected to run 20 degrees above seasonal averages for the weekend and next week. Rain is not expected over the next seven days. Pleasant conditions will continue over the next several days as a surface high off Atlantic coastline spreads ridging across the SE CONUS. Patchy, dense fog may be possible near HWY 84 and south early Friday morning, but the probabilities are low (25-30%) at this time. Heading into the weekend, temps will undergo a warming trend into the weekend as southerly winds advect warm air into the region. As the warming trend continues, high will range from the low to mid 80s and lows will range in the upper 50s to low 60s. All will remain quiet to make for an enjoyable weekend.
