Issued at 813 PM CDT Wed Mar 18 2026 Clear skies prevail across the ArkLaMs this evening as high pressure prevails. This will continue overnight, with slightly warmer lows than last night. Lows will range from the upper 40s across the Delta to the low 40s in the Pine Belt Region./15/ && .DISCUSSION... Issued at 125 PM CDT Wed Mar 18 2026 Tonight through next Tuesday...High pressure at the surface is drifting east of the region, and will remain there through the majority of the forecast period. This will result in south to southwest winds prevailing across the forecast area through this weekend. Then Monday night into Tuesday, a dry frontal boundary is currently advertised to sink south through the CWA, with winds turning out of the north in it's wake. All of this, as northwest flow aloft persists across the region throughout the period. Quiet weather continues into early next week. Temperatures will steadily warm during this time, with highs climbing back to above normal readings and into the 80s Friday through at least Sunday. Lows will likewise follow suite, but remain cool through the period.
