(Tuesday through Sunday) Issued at 214 PM CDT Sun Apr 6 2025 Northwest flow at mid and upper levels, and the surface high shifting to the east of the area, will result in clear/sunny skies, dry conditions, and a warming trend through the week. High temperatures will mostly be in the 80s, with low temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. A weak cold front will pass from north to south through the area Thursday night, but southerly flow will resume for Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures in the mid 80s to lower 90s on Saturday, and around 90 at most locations on Sunday, except for upper 90s to near 100 on the Rio Grande Plains. Relative humidity will fall into the teens to lower 20s percent on the Rio Grande Plains, Edwards Plateau, and western Hill Country most afternoons. However, winds will be light, so fire weather conditions should remain in the elevated range. Stronger winds and warmer temperatures on Saturday and Sunday may bring near critical conditions for those days. && .AVIATION...
