Breezy southeasterly winds each afternoon may help maintain relative humidity values above any fire weather criteria along and east of US281/I69C. Relative humidity values to the west across the brush country will drop below 20-30 percent each afternoon, but likely do so without much of a breeze, until the evening, when moisture is recovering, also somewhat limiting fire weather concerns at this time. The entire region remains primed for wildfires and burn bans are in effect across all of Deep South Texas, except Kenedy County, where the largest wildfire in the state of Texas kicked up yesterday, currently 75% contained at 2300 acres.
