The main concern in the short term will be the potential 

for fog to develop Friday night into Saturday morning. LL Moisture 

will advect into the area late Friday, combined with light winds 

there should be the potential for some patchy fog along the Platte 

river valley and surrounding low-lying areas where winds will be 

light, less than 5 mph. At this time confidence is low in any 

widespread fog development as winds above 5 mph and clouds may keep 

development from occurring. For tonight into Friday morning, 

shower activity is expected to remain mostly to the south along

the KS/NE border, but could brush Frontier County early Friday 

morning.

Temperatures will remain near normal for the weekend with highs

in the low 60s. As an upper level trof moves into the area 

Sunday, will see an increase in shower chances Sunday night into

Monday. A cold front will translate across the state Monday 

into Tuesday with cooler temperatures expected behind the front 

along with a chance of showers and maybe thunderstorms Monday 

into Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday only in the 50s.

VFR conditions likely continue through the bulk of the forecast

period.



Low stratus has moved north into central Nebraska. This has

largely remained east of LBF and while some impacts could be

seen, expecting ceilings to be at or above 3.5kft AGL. Expect

improving conditions for the daytime though some diurnal cumulus

is possible. Will have to monitor potential for fog late Friday

night. For now, greatest impacts appear likely to occur just

beyond the end of the valid period.
