Upper flow over the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest continues out of the north today into Monday, with a shortwave ridge axis traversing the region late Tuesday into Wednesday. This will be closely followed by an upper low that will bring a chance of light precipitation to the area on Wednesday. Temperatures on Wednesday support mainly liquid precipitation as the best chances occur after sunrise when temps will be above freezing. The upper low pushes east on Thursday, with ridging taking shape to the west. This will drift east on Friday, allowing temps to climb well into the 50s to near 60 degrees. Even warmer highs are favored for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 60s each day. There is a slight chance for showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two on Saturday. && .AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z MONDAY/...
