Upper-level ridging is building over the western part of the U.S. 

this afternoon while troughing has shifted east of Florida. At the 

surface, high pressure has settled over the Gulf and this feature 

will dominate the weather over the next several days, keeping 

slightly above normal temperatures and dry conditions across the 

local area. The ridge will flatten some on Tuesday as a frontal 

boundary moves south over the region and this will bring slight rain 

chances back into the forecast through mid-week before we dry out 

once again for the end of the week.

fog is expected tonight, but mainly for areas north of the TAF

High pressure will remain over the area for the next several days, 

with rain-free and warming conditions expected. A relatively dry air 

mass will allow relative humidity values to drop to critical levels 

for parts of the interior through early next week, but no Red 

Flag conditions are anticipated as sustained winds are forecast to

remain less than 15 mph. Some patchy fog is possible over the 

next few days.
