Through 3 am, widely scattered showers will continue to move 

southwest at near 20 knots across the Straits of Florida and 

nearshore waters of the Middle and Upper Keys. Mariners encountering

the stronger portions of this activity can expect brief bouts of 

moderate to heavy rainfall and wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots. An

additional tenth to a quarter of inch of rainfall will be possible

over land where showers cross the island chain.
