Through 11 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will 

continue to wax and wane throughout the Florida Keys coastal waters, 

especially across the nearshore and offshore waters north of the

Island Chain. This activity will move generally towards the 

northeast at near 10 knots. Mariners encountering this activity may 

experience gusty and erratic winds near 25 knots, reduced visibility 

from heavy downpours, and occasional lightning strikes.
