Through 1230 pm, scattered showers will move northwest to north at 

near 10 knots through the nearshore waters of the Middle and Upper 

Keys and in the distant Straits. The stronger of the activity will 

be capable of blinding downpours, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and 

frequent lightning strikes. Island communities of the Middle and 

Upper Keys could see a few hundreths of an inch in rainfall.
