Through 7 PM, an arching outflow boundary is moving south to southwest across the waters east of the Seven Mile Bridge. The boundary extends north to near Naples and will enter the outer Gulf waters within the hour. Given the size, different sections are moving at differing speeds. The stronger portion of the outflow located from near Marathon to Naples is moving southwest to west at 15 to 20 knots. Mariners encountering this segment can expect sudden wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots from the northeast and east. In addition, showers and thunderstorms have continued to develop along this line and will bring added hazards of blinding downpours and bouts of frequent lightning. $$
