Through 900 am, a band of scattered showers will continue across

portions of the Straits of Florida south of the Middle and Upper

Keys. This activity will move to the southwest at 10 to 15 knots. 

Mariners encountering the strongest activity southwest of the

Marathon Humps can expect bouts of heavy downpours reducing

visibility, wind gusts near 25 knots, and possibly a few lightning

strikes.
