Through 2 am, a scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in a

disconnected line from Hawk Channel near Sand key to Cape Sable and

off Windley Key will continue moving to the east 5 knots. Showers

will continue to percolate over the nearshore waters. Mariners 

encountering the stronger activity can expect heavy downpours, wind 

gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and occasional lightning strikes. Island

communities across the Lower, Middle, and Upper Keys may observe an

additional tenth to a quarter of an inch of rainfall.
